Pakistan vs. New Zealand T20 series is likely to be affected by rain as per the weather forecast.
According to the weather forecast, there are high chances of rain in the first 3 T20s in Rawalpindi on 18, 20 and 21 of April.
On Thursday, there’s a 40% chance of rain during the day and a higher chance of 70% at night.
April 20, the date of the second T20I, carries a 52% chance of rainfall, which might affect the match.
Fortunately, the chances of rain decrease significantly to 13% on April 21,
suggesting better weather conditions for that match.
This series is important for Pakistan because they are preparing for the T20 World Cup this year in June in West Indies and America.
Pakistan and New Zealand also played one series earlier this year which Pakistan lost badly by 4-1 under the leadership of Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Now, PCB has changed the white ball Captain and appointed Babar Azam once again. This series is the first assignment of Babar Azam as Captain of Pakistan cricket team.
Babar Azam will also lead Pakistan in the T20 World Cup this year.
After this series, Pakistan will play another two T20 series against England and Ireland before T2O World Cup.
The first three matches of the New Zealand series will be in Rawalpindi and the last two are scheduled in Lahore.
Also, the key members of the New Zealand squad are missing because they were part of IPL and couldn’t participate in the Pakistan series.
